To comply with the IPC\/JEDEC J-STD-033C, \u00a0IC packages should be stored in a dry box that maintains a humidity level equal to or less than 5% RH or 10 % RH in order to keep them from adsorbing moisture after opening its moisture-proof packaging.\u00a0
However, on the factory floor, \u00a0the humidity level in the dry box may rise due to the frequency of opening \u00a0the doors to load and unload devices. In order to prevent such a situation from occurring, \u00a0and to consistently maintain the required humidity levels of less than 5% or 10% RH, ultra-low humidity dry cabinets set at 1%RH or 2%RH may be most recommended.<\/p>\n
